James Eccles
BSc (Hons) Business Systems and Information Technology
Residing in Glasgow, Scotland, James has been affiliated with the team for several years serving client locations in the UK and mainland Europe. He began his career in the Financial Services industry (including Barclays, Aegon Asset Management and Brewin Dolphin Stock Brokers), working in Risk and Audit, with good exposure to Change Management Projects.
Before partnering with Vitesse Solutions, he spent a year working with a consultancy in the oil and gas industry, delivering business process and Change Management projects for clients including Technip UK and AgipKCO.
His experience led to a natural progression into the discipline of Knowledge Management. His first project was based in Paris, for North Caspian Operating Company (NCOC) where he was an integral member of the team. He was involved in the design, implementation and launch of numerous KM Knowledge Networks with members from several of the largest oil companies worldwide, enabling collaboration (sharing ideas, lessons learned and best practices) for the partners and agents of the largest capital based project globally. James is currently serving FMC Technologies, Inc. at it’s locations in Scotland and Norway.
